Duniya ka naara, Jame raho !

Duniya ka naara jame raho! Manzil ka ishaara jame raho!
This song from "Taare Zameen Par" depicts the story of our daily life, a life which is purely mechanical.Wake up early, rush to the office, work till late in the evening, reach home at 8 and off to bed by 11. Before we know it we will have spent the best part of our lives doing the same thing over and over again.

In our quest for riches, name and fame all we have managed to learn is how to be unhappy. No matter how much you earn, how much you own, how much you spend, satisfaction seems to elude you. I, for one, hate what I currently do for livelihood, but then I do not know of anything else that will pay me better. I have no choice but to keep doing what I hate until I find a way to improve the quality of my life.

There is no time for simple things anymore. Friends and family come into the picture only during the weekends that too if you are in a mood to socialize. Newspapers and magazines are bought and piled up, only to be exchanged for some money which will make up for the bills paid. Even the conversations with people you know are now small and restricted.

We live our lives only for 2 days and spend the rest of the week in pursuit of happiness. In pursuit we are, but are we on the right track ?
I have got my answer, Have you ?
